Dan Carroll

Dan Carroll joins Corinthian Title and Escrow as Senior Vice-President and Corporate Counsel after a 35 year career as a real estate and business litigator with McCann & Carroll in Carlsbad and La Quinta, California. Mr. Carroll has conducted his practice throughout the State and Federal Courts in California since his admission to practice in 1982, and has also litigated cases in the Federal Courts in Texas and Montana, and in the State Courts in Indiana, Nevada, Texas, Arkansas and Montana. Mr. Carroll received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and History from California State University at Stanislaus in May 1979, and a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of San Diego in May 1982. He is a Master of the Fiorenzo V. Lopardo Chapter of the American Inns of Court.

Mr. Carroll's practice has focused upon civil litigation and appellate matters. He has successfully prosecuted and defended cases involving real property sales disputes, boundary and easement disputes, adverse possession and quiet title, construction defects representing homeowners, contractors, sub-contractors and design professionals, personal injuries, business torts, sexual harassment and wrongful termination, disability and pregnancy discrimination, securities fraud, property damage, and title insurance claims. He has also represented a number of professionals in malpractice actions, including lawyers, realtors and medical professionals.

In additional to his trial practice, Mr. Carroll also has an active appellate practice, having successfully briefed and argued more than 25 cases at all levels of the California Appellate Courts.
